What in the world.....

I remember those childrens book that came out when my kids were little. If you give a moose a muffin or If you give a pig a pancake, etc.

Well I think I can write a new one and it will be called.... If you give a horse a house!!!

We have been having to irrigate the pasture that our horses are normally on, so we have let them roam around the house to eat some of the new green stuff. Well our three year old is not happy with just having the extra yard to roam! Should I let him in.... or make him wash the windows???

Love Thy Neighbor....

I think this guy should have been a little nicer to his new neighbor. Here's the story.

A city councilman in Utah, had a beautiful view of the East Mtns. until a new neighbor purchase the lot below his house and built a new home. The house was 18" higher than the land ordinance allowed, so Mark, mad about his lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line ordinance.

The new neighbor had to drop the roof at a great expense.

Recently Mark called the city to inform them that his new neighbors had installed some new vents... Mark did not like what he saw, but the city was unable to do anything as there were no ordinances being wronged.

Maybe he should have lived with the 18" and brought over some brownies to his new neighbors.

The Little Things In Life

It's the simple things in life that bring such pleasure to me. We all get caught up in the trials of life, bills, work, family, etc. I need to remind myself to stop and take a deep breath and realize just how lucky I am. I live in a beautiful place, I have a roof over my head, I have to beautiful boys and life is good.

We now have a new colt (Casper) and it is such a joy to watch him grow on a daily basis.

So take a step back and remember all the good things in your life.
