Pay Back

This was my first attempt at making a money clip. I think it turned out pretty well, but I did come out with a nasty burn on my fingers. I was not thinking and grabbed the piece after dropping it in the pickle pot, it was a long piece and assumed the whole piece would be cool enough! It was not. This is a birthday gift for my Dad (he is a plumber) and maybe it was a little pay back for all the trouble I caused him as a teenager.

Hope hope he likes it.

He Did It, I Did It, We Did It!

My oldest son graduated from High School this past Saturday. I am so proud of him.
He will be attending ASU (Arizona State University) where he will be studying Kinesiology (the science of human movement) and eventually would like to become an Orthopedic Surgeon.

End of The World.......

Prom Time!

It is prom time and it can be a little worrying weather wise for prom time in Colorado.

My senior went to prom a few weeks ago and the weather was beautiful (sorry I don't have a picture of his date as of yet, it was a last minute thing and I was not able to go and take pictures of his date!).

                                                      Such a handsome young man!


My freshman went this weekend and the weather was freezing, there was snow showers on and off all day long. To make life even more complicated, his girlfriend had just had knee surgery two weeks before prom. My son also had to have shoulder surgery (3 weeks ago) but was able to go without his sling for the day.

                                                        They still make a lovely couple!

Ahhhh, life in Colorado. I hope spring will get here soon. I long for those warm sunny days, without the snow of course.
